INTERIORS
We always take every precaution to fully protect all areas that do not require paint. We firmly believe an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
SCRAPING
Scrapping failing paint is important when prepping for an exterior. We offer free lead testing for your home. Harris Painting is lead based certified in safely removing and repainting lead based homes.
PAINTING
We always use top quality paint and products. "Two coats" always means two coats, even if the first one looks okay. We never cut corners.

EXTERIOR
We use a product called Peal Bond on all exteriors. It's essentially a superglue for your home if there are any areas that are failing on the exterior.
CABINETS AND DOORS
Instead of replacing your old kitchen cabinets, make them new by repainting them. We prime with a stain-blocking primer, and then paint with a high-quality latex enamel.
PRESSURE WASHING
We pressure wash with a product called Jo Max. This removes all mold and mildew before starting the painting processes. The results are like night and day.
CAULKING
One of the most overlooked steps before painting is caulking… it’s one of the secrets of painting your house like a professional. Not only does it look better, but it can help your home be more energy efficient, saving on cooling and heating costs.
